It doesn’t seem to give me  3840*2160 60hz 4:4:4 but only 30hz with
my Mac Pro (early 2009 with GTX970)..
Is it not supposed to ? or are there any way around it?

The monitor and the cable are fine because it gives 2160 60hz 4:4:4 with Windows 7 with GTX980 .

Hi broiler010,

When choosing 3840×2160 at 60HZ 4:4:4 the color depth need to go down to 8Bit otherwise the signal gets bigger than what HDMI2.0 has bandwidth for (18Gbps)…
In 4:2:2 the max color depth is 12Bit and in 4:2:0 you should be able to do 16bit

Hello MST1407,

Thank you very much, I will try to find a way to set the color depth to 8bit on my Mac.
I’ll report however it goes.
