Hi,

Please advice how to use CSV-1560 with MacBook Pro 2016. When I connect USB-C to my MacBook Pro, the whole system just freezes for a while. No keyboard, mouse etc. Then it starts to work again, but the dock doesnt still work.

Please advice.

Hello nabostoli,

Sorry to hear this.
It can be that the Notebook needs a little time to “read” what functionality the Docking Station can provide via the USB C.
Do you have power connected to the Docking when connecting to the Notebook ?
Do you already have external devices connected to the Docking when connecting to the Notebook ?
Which version OS is running ?

Hi,

It actually started to work. Thanks for your help!

Second question:

Does the dock support multiple desktops instead of mirroring desktop to two external displays? I can get picture nicely to both screens, but only in mirror mode.

Fortunately I had an adapter to sort that out, but it would be nice to use the only. 🙂

Hi nabostoli,

This CSV-1560 Docking Station uses Multi SteamTransport (MST) feature to distribute a second video signal if it is coming form teh source systems USB C output. Don’t think your MacBook / OS supports that …
