Good Moring,

i bought an CSV-5300A (Multi Stream Transport (MST) Hub DisplayPort™ 1.2 auf Triple Monitor) and connected it with 2 DP-Cables (different Manufactorer) and the third Port with an DP2DVI Adapter to a third Monitor. When i switch the PC (HP Deskpro 600) off, the Monitor on the Adapter powers off, but the two Monitors connected diretly with DP Cables still have Power and always go on “No Signal” detected and off, than back on… All Three Monitors are Terra 24″ TFTs.

I fogott: If i connect the Monitors directly to the DP Port of the Deskpro (same DP Cables), Monitors go in Standby (as they should) when the PC is powered off.

Screens turning off in an Mulit Screen / Eyefinity Setup is highly dependent on the screens.
We did not test with Terra Screens, but i do know that for instance our Eyfinity 6 setup with 6 x Samsung 22″ screens also does not turn off automatically.
Please check for latest software for the screens and even if there is a drvier available for the screens to install on your system.

But Screens do turn off when diretly plugged to the PC. And they do when connected over passive DP2DVI Adapter on the MST Adapter…

i am quite sure it is because the MST Hub is still powered and the screens will see it and therefor not turn off. The adapter most probably prevents the screen from being able to “see” the MST Hub. At home I plugged the Adapter from the MST Hub into same Power Block as the screens and I just run off the power block … then everything turns off for sure 🙂
