I just bought the club sense vision usb 3.0 to displayport 4k adapter in order to add a 3rd screen to my existing 2 screen setup. When I opened the package I found a disc that must be inserted in order to install the drivers required to use my new device. My computer does not have a disk drive and I do not want to buy a disk drive, how can I get the drivers needed?
I’m at work right now but going to try as soon as I get home later today, in the off chance that it doesn’t work for w.e reason, I will go to a friends house and use his disk drive, while hooking a sata cable up from his hard drive to my motherboard and transferring it that way. It should work without issues. Use the latest driver version for either Windows or Mac OSX.
When I started the download for the latest driver for my OS, i received a notification saying displaylink installer has detected that my usb 3.0 host controller drivers could be incompatible with displaylink usb hardware. please download and update your intel usb 3.0 host controller driver before using displaylink technology. Any idea how to do this?
