So, i’ve been having issues with the current card i have with trying to run more than 2 screens. i have one of the weirdest setups for monitors due to also running a streaming PC. i can run a max of 3 screens by what i have been told i should be able to run a HUB with ONLY a 1-3 MST hub DP on a r9 290 to use my 3 screens here is what i was told would work is this current?

Unfortunately, I cannot say for certain if the displayport 3-way splitter would be capable of splitting a signal within another HDMI splitter down-the-line like that given chart depicted, especially if you run into displayport MST Hub lane bandwidth issues pushing that many displays.
On the bright side, I did take some creative liberty and used Google’s Draw.IO platform to make you a nicer looking diagram. 🙂

Do you have more information about the monitors you are using and HDMI splitter you intend to use? The max number of monitors you can use is limited by the bandwidth of the DP output which allows for example 3x 1920x1200p monitors at 60 Hz.
That being said, we have not tested a setup as pictured above ourselves so we can’t tell for sure if it works. It will likely exceed the bandwidth first though.

for the streaming pc is running 1024×768, main monitor on main computer is 1280×1024 and other 2 screens are 768×1366
