Club 3D (m)DP1.2 to HDMI2.0 UHD Active Adapter officially launched

Club 3D launches the first 'Real' (mini)DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 4K UHD Active Adapters.

For the past years Club 3D has been offering a growing range of high quality Audio/ Video adapters and cables which provide the best connection between your Graphics solution and Display device.

From PC Gamers to Graphic designers and from Video editors to Air Traffic Controllers; Club 3D’s high quality Adapters and Cables find their way to a wide variety of applications.

Today we announce an important addition to our A/V Adapters range; the highly anticipated (Mini) DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 4K UHD Active Adapters.

In the world of PC Gaming, a 60Hz refresh rate is widely regarded as a requirement for a smooth and fluid gaming experience. Until HDMI 2.0 was announced in 2013, it was not possible to display games on any Ultra HD Monitor or Television lacking a DisplayPort 1.2 input at 60Hz because of bandwidth limitations of the HDMI interface. Key advantage of the HDMI 2.0 over the 1.4 specification is the increased bandwidth, which enables the full 4K UHD 3840x 2160p experience at 60Hz.

With the new Club 3D DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 4K UHD Active Adapter we aim to provide the smoothest 60Hz solution for anyone who is looking to use their HDMI 2.0 enabled 4K UHD Television or monitor for living room gaming or (semi) professional applications like photo and video editing.

As the HDMI 2.0 interface finds its way to more Ultra HD TV’s and monitors, Club 3D maximizes the compatibility between High End AMD, Nvidia and Intel graphics solutions and 4K UHD Display devices with the CAC-1070 and 1170 Active Adapters, available end of December. MSRP $ 35 or € 32 (ex local sales tax).

Hi neumannjr,

Please let me know the country you are from, so i can let you know where you should be abel to buy this and an estimated end-user price ...

Hello friend, i am from Brazil. Thank you for your attention

I would love a link to a United States retailer. So far my searches have returned zero retailers with this model number for sale.

I am trying to get one of these as well. I am in the USA.

Please let us know where it will be available.

Hi All,

This item should become available by the end of December and if we are unlucky begining of January. For the US it will become available at Amazon.
I expect end-user price in North America to be around 39,- U$D (without vat) and in Western Europe around 39,- € incl VAT.

When and where will it be available in Germany?
Saw it at alternate.com but delivery date is unknown.

Hi Giggle,

It should become available end December or early January.

Best regards

Do you know if cac-1170 will support 4096 x 2160@60hz?

Hey Cr22, that is the reason to buy this adapter.
We will see how it works when it is available.

Hi guys, i want to buy this one but i was wondering how to get (when it's available) , because  i m from Greece and there are no resellers or online shops to order it from.(as far as i know at least)...Any ideas?

Everything said 3840x2160, just wanted to make sure 4096x2160 is also supported

hello i'm italian i would know the release date for my country and which are online shops where can i buy item?

Hey,
Is this a bi-directional cable? I am looking for HDMI 2.0 to Displayport.

Hey,
Is this a bi-directional cable? I am looking for HDMI 2.0 to Displayport.

Hi Bhuvsta, it's from DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 only, so no bi-directional functionality. We have no plans to offer an HDMI 2.0 to DP 1.2 adapter.

Will it be normal DP or Mini DP? because in the above description, "the first ‘Real’ (mini)DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 4K UHD Active Adapter." (i have very little experience with dp cables so i am not solid on what they look like) however that appears to be a normal DP connector.

i am currently using an AMD Radeon R9 390.
also, if this is out already, could you link me to the amazon page? (i cant seem to find it which is why im unsure if it is actually being sold yet)

I already ordered this on Amazon.com.  When can I expect this to be availabe for Amazon so they can ship it to me?

thanks,

~Peter

Dear Peter, thank you for choosing this adapter. The first batch arrives in our warehouse on 30 December and will be shipped out to Amazon the same day. Most likely it will be shipped by Amazon on 4 or 5 January but I understand there are quite a few pre orders already. Best regards,

Thank you for replying and letting me know the timing on when I can expect this to arrive.  I was hoping for before the new year but as long as this works, it will be worth the wait.

thanks again!

hello i’m italian i would know the release date for my country and which are online shops where can i buy item?

hi guys, i have posted another comment but i want to ask a specific question now. When will the adapter reach Amazon.uk????

30 Dec was what you promised.

2 Jan now, still no cable =(

Take a deep breath.....now look up at your monitor or phone and read royalkings reply just above. Estimating shipping from amazon on the 4th or 5th. Now obviously the only information club can offer us...when they received their stock on Dec 30th and then sent out for distribution. I would assume my reply is all you'll need, unless you plan on contacting amazon?

I just spoke with Amazon and they have no clue it seems when this will be in stock and if they did, they would have updated the item's status on their website.  I really hope this is not vaporware.  Please update as to when Amazon will receive this product and when we can expect Amazon to update their website to say "In Stock".

Thanks,

~Peter

I am also a little concerned.  I still see Amazon having this "out of stock".  Can you confirm that they received the product?  Thanks.
