It should not be that difficult …
The Card supports up to 4 screens natively, after that you would need active adapters for the screens. This you have in the MS Hub (is an active device) so as long as the HDMI Cables you use are not longer than something like 3 meters that should be fine.
Just connect the screens 1 by 1, make sure they are in the correct resolution and frequency in windows (with didgital screens normally goes automatic). When done go to Crimson driver and create Eyefinity Group. Please do check positioning of the screen, because you cannot make all combinations … please check here: http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/technology/amd-eyefinity.en.html

Has this been resolved? If so, I would love to hear the solution.It sounds like I am having the same problem. I have been battling this for about a year now. I am going to jump on to this thread, if you don’t mind….

The three monitors off the R9 290 card work fine. I cannot get any monitors on the MST hub to work properly. I can get two monitors working on the MST hub, though will not all be active if you restart the computer. In addition, I cannot put the computer to sleep, being the computer will not come out of sleep. This only happens when monitors are connected to the MST hub. If i attempt to get 3 monitors going off the MST hub (total of 6 monitors), the system becomes unstable and the screens constantly flash. 

I was hoping with the release of Crimson and Windows 10 that this would be fixed. No luck.

The only things i can think off is that the Monitor cables should not be longer than 3 meters and not active (only use active cables when 5 meters or longer.
Sometimes Bios update for the mainboard (i know it sounds weird) and or Graphics Card does help. 
I did hear the “Sleep issue” before, something like the MST Hub needed a new power cycle before being able to communicate again … What firmware version i on the CSV-5300H ?

Thank you for the response. The cables are all under 3 meters and are not active cables. The bios and the R9 290 card are up to date. Yes, the hub does need to be power cycled with 5 monitors in order to work, though still not completely stable. Not sure where to find the firmware version, being connected though the GPU….

The serial number is 60201512140011. Not sure if you can find what firmware was shipped with this unit….

Thanks again for the reply. Not sure how to check the firmware for the Asus VS247H-P.
I am not sure where else to go with this. When Club 3D does their testing for this hub, what is their setup? Do they have any recommended configurations that they have tested and know works?

Hi Brandon,

In the factory test are being done with at least 24 different configurations and we ourselves also test in our office, however there are always more screens and Graphics solutions in the market or coming out, than we are able to test up front …
I cannot help you with your screens since i have no experience with those, you will need to check with Asus on that one ..
