Cac-1170 and vizio p 50 not working

I just bought the mini dp to hdmi 2.0 adapter and I must say I am very disappointed. If I try to do 4k at 30hz everything works fine, but if I try 60hz then it blanks out. I have also tried bringing the color down to 8 bit. Is there any way to fix this?

Sorry to hear this, so far we do not have a solution yet for the P Series Vizio TV.
Testing will be done in the factory, however with Chinese New Year going it will most probably take another week (or 2) before we will receive feedback.

Good to know you guys are working on it. I'll wait for the results.

I have feedback from factory on Firmware update in which "unreasonable EDID info coming from Vizio TV" as they call it. Firmware is now available. I will send it to your email address.

hi i also have a vizio tv i was wondering if i could get the new firmware

I'd also second that the firmware works for M series Vizio TVs with 2014 15" Retina macbook pro.

I have a Vizio M50, but it cannot work with 4k@60hz, could you please also share the firmware update with me?
