Also, about the HDMI 1.4 To DP that does exist, I have wondered. I read on the internet that Nvidia allowed Maxwell cards to send 4k@60Hz via HDMI 1.4, using a 4:2:0 color compressed signal.
So, I tried to connect that maxwell card of mine via HDMI 1.4, but it only allowed 30Hz.
Then I thought maybe such an adapter, since connected to the DP in of my monitor, would report to the card a 60Hz compatibility, allowing me to switch to 4:2:0 60Hz in the control panel.
Is this possible ?
