Hi,

Just bought the CSV-1593. Connected it to my Surface pro to connect 2 monitors and LAN.

Monitors are working fine.

LAN not so good. It works for about 10 minutes then the stops.

eventlog

Call AX88179RegisterAdapter() failed.

Set OID complete failed.

After disconnecting usb-C and reconnecting it works again for 10 minutes.

removed the device in Devicemanager and scan for new and reinstalled it but still the same issue.

Is there a driver for the CSV-1593 to fix this?

Which Surface pro exactly?

Are there any other peripherals connected to the hub or the Surface?

Which operating system?

Surface 1 2 3 4 5 etc? 😛 I can;t find the exact version you name. Can you provide a link to it?

Does this problem also occurs when only connecting the LAN cable? Not including the displays? What resolution and Hz are the displays running at? Might be a bandwidth issue on the Surface, but I can’t know for sure.

And 1 Display + LAN?

2 displays with 30Hz +LAN?

1Display 60Hz + 1Display 30Hz +LAN?

Trying to figure out where it goes wrong. As you see it does work what it should do, gives LAN and does output 2 displays.

I assume that it take to much bandwidth from the USB-C when you run 2x60Hz.
