  I think thats too hot.. fairly sure the 290/290x should max at about 95c under load. Wait for Club to reply though to make sure.

  what temps are you getting? im wondering if it maybe has a problem with the temp sensor and it thinks its too hot already.

  Are you sure it's not trying to use a resolution you monitor can't display? Do you see the boot up info, but then when it's wndows.... It's black?

  I forgot to say.. Not only will it look better, it will perform SO much better!! Even just a new PSU would prepare it for a nice new GPU and higher Overclock!

  mine is a major LOL addict .... I tried to play with him, no good... its just too slow for me (Im used to D3:RoS and Titanfall...BF4 etc)
