My monitor flickers at 144 / 120 hz using this product intermittently using HDCP on (cuts to black once and then back on very quickly)

Using it in a evga ftw 3080 ti and this DVI cable.  What can I do to reduce this?

In case cable link above not working, using Cable Matters DVI to DVI Cable with Ferrites (DVI Dual Link Cable, DVI D Cable) 10 Feet.

Does it matter what type of USB Port I Plug it into?  Im using a 570x Tomahawk mobo

Hello bzeeb,

I’m sorry but I cant help you with your problem but please I think you can help me with my problem. I had my BenQ XL2411Z running at 144Hz without any problems but than I needed to reinstall Windows and since that point I can’t choose 144Hz anymore (120 max.) everytime I try to use 144Hz I get the “signal out of range” message on the monitor. Is there an device driver or smth for the adapter? Amazon
Greetings

Could be the cable, have you tried a different one yet?

Doesn’t matter which USB it is connected to.

Are your drivers up to date?

Just asking, why use a 3080TI with such an old monitor? It can do so much better! And it deserves so much better too! Try to score a new Display during the black friday deals during these days I would say! 🙂

If you email [email protected] they can send you the firmware to switch it from HDCP ON to Off, they recommended for my ON version to swap it to the OFF firmware and see if it helps, will report back if this helps.
