CAC-1010 Screen switching on and off

Hi,

I eagerly received a CAC-1010 DisplayPort to DVI Dual-Link DVI-D Active Adapter this morning and was very pleased to see it connect from my ThinkPad P50 Docking station to the CrossOver screen.  However after a few minutes of use I am regularly seeing the monitor lose input.  Reading reviews I am suspecting this is due to low USB power?  I’ve even tried plugging the USB into the wall via USB adapter and still no better.

I was full of hope but now full of disappointment as there’s no way I can use it in this manner long term.  Any ideas on what I can do to troubleshoot?  The spec specifies standard USB A connection?

Solved the issue.   PEBKAC :/  The power switch on my monitor was being triggered by a camera stand that was behind it :/
