CAC-1070 with Samsung HU 6900 TV Flickering at Desktop

Hi,

I have a CAC-1070 adapter. and a Samsung HU 6900 TV.
And when I’m in a Game and Fullscreen is turned on everything is fine but at the normal Desktop the TV is flickering after some minutes. My HDMI Cable is alright tested 3 Cables = same problem.

I have a PC and a R9 290. newest AMD Driver is installed.

Sorry about the delay.

For many Samsung TV’s it is important to change in the setting of the TV to “PC” for the HDMI port you are using.

And what brand / type of HDMI are you using ? I konw it sounds a bit “easy” but many cables do state to support 4K but actually do not support that in 60Hz and/or the full bandwidth, that certainly goes for cables longer than 3 meters. It is always best to go for a certified cable, something like this:

we  have more end User reports on that particular cable not supporting 4 k art 60 hz.
please try à different cable. I ma not saying you need to spend à lot of money, you Should be able to buy a good quality cable for somerwhere between 15 and 20 euro’s like Club3d cac-1310.

Yeah, I read that too on Amazon I buy a new cable with good user rating, especially with my problem cause the other ones aren’t from a good quality. I will test it and write again

same problem with new cable … as i said in fullscreen when i play a game. there’s no flickering …. in desktop mode every 5 minutes the screen turns off an it says change the resulution so software/firmware problem … maybe just give me an firmware update and i try that
