Hello. I recently bought  “Club 3D CAC-1080 DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.0B HDR Adapter Supports [email protected] High Dynamic Range”  from Amazon. I can’t seem to get 5.1 surround sound working with it, though. Only 2 channel stereo.
 
The product page says it should work with 5.1 and i saw one of the customer reviews had to contact you guys about getting a firmware update for it to work?
 
My PC specs are:
Windows 10
2080ti

Hello,

you can send an email to [email protected] to get a firmware update. however it has been know that the surround sound does not work on certain Nvidia cards. this has to do with the card itself.

I have sent them 2 emails so far, but like other people on here have mentioned, no response yet. I also reached out to you guys on FB, since i saw someone else got help that way, but they just told me to email support. 🙁
