CAC-1379 Unable to produce 4k120hz signal to B9 OLED TV from RTX 3080

I just bought and tried out this cable that says it can do 4k 120hz, but the max I’ve been able to reliably achieve is 4k 60hz. My TV has the latest firmware at 5.00.02 and my pc has the latest graphics drivers at 457.51 and the combo is more than capable of producing a 4k 120hz signal. Is there something wrong with the cable or is there something software-wise I’m missing to get this working?

I have the exact same issue with the CAC-1376 on my C9. Once the TV asks to switch to Ultra HD Deep Color, the signal go’s on black

I have the same exact problem.  I bought the optical CAC-1379 Optical cable (65.6ft) and it doesn’t work on both my B9 and C9.  I have two LG Oled TV and both resulting in the same behavior which is a black screen as soon as deep color is enabled in the menu of the TV (because it switches to native resolution HDMI 2.1 at 120hz 4:4:4 10bit) and the cable can’t provide enough bandwidth or is not compliant.  It’s easy to see the resolution if you use a second monitor (the max I can get if I change it is 4K 60hz YUV420, which is really not what I’v paid for).

I am on the latest version of nvidia drivers 461.09.  Both my TVs are on the latest firmware version as well. C9 = 5.00.10 and B9 5.00.02

I suspect the chip inside the cable that can’t process 40 or 48gpbs properly.  I am not too sure if this can be upgraded via a firmware update (they did with my Display port to HDMI 2.0 before).

But the matter of fact is that it’s a very expensive cable and I ratter return that one and buy one that works for my B9 and C9.  Any help before I return will be appreciated
