CLUB MST CSV-5400 Displayport mirroring on 2 displays

I am not able to figure out how to make my monitors extend using the MST hub. I can connect 3 monitors to my Graphics card using individual ports. but not using the MST.   I have a Dual 1024 MB ATI Mobility Rade on HD 5870 with ATI CrossFireX technology..  Do you know if that graphics card works with MST?

Hi David,

Are you sure that your Notebook ( i assume) has support for DP1.2 output ?
If it is DP1.1 that would explain why you don’t get more than 2 x 1080p over it …
Also many Notebooks have limitation with regards to the amount of external screens you can connect. Often not more than 2 external screens is supported so 3 in total including the Notebook screen.

My graphics card listed in original post supports 3 monitors.
I believe its displayport 1.1a (time to upgrade card)
Do you know how the MST Hub should function with a Displayport 1.1a

Yes it does, however limited to the bandwidth of dp1.1. 1080p at 60Hz takes Aboutaleb 3.73 Gbps , so more toen 2x 1080 p at 60Hz wont fit
