Help with CAC-1087 issue

I recently got an S90F OLED tv and i wanted to connect it to a blackview mp100 minipc (has an Intel Alder Lake i5-12450H CPU and 1.4 Displayport). Unfortunately the mini pc only supports hdmi 2.0 so I cannot get 4k@60hz with HDR on which is why i bought this adapter cable (CAC-1087). When connected to the Displayport 1.4 of the minipc I am unable to even switch to 4k@60HZ with HDR on in Windows 11, and I get frequent 2-3 seconds TV black-outs (the image becomes completely black). Note that when I connected the TV to the minipc via HDMI 2.0 everything was stable for hours. Is this a sign of a defective cable I should RMA? I also emailed club3d support but apparently they take a while to respond so I’m writing here too. Thanks in advance for any help/ideas!
