A MBP from mid 2011 with a dp port. Is it supported?

Hi,
The 13″has the Intel HD 3000 and it wont be supported.
The 15″ has the HD 6750, based on the HD 6000 series discreet graphics it supports DP 1.2 and it should support MST but we are not sure if the Macbook is supported as we have not tested this model. Most often is found to be a driver issue as many users report running on Windows on the Macbook it works but in OSX doesn’t. 
On the latest Macbook pro we found that the MST works

Thank you for your response. Make sure the shop where you buy it has a good return policy in case you run into troubles.
