Hello.
I am going to build videowall computers. My question is the  CAC-1101 the right cable for use on HD7850 cards? I am going to put 2-6 cards in every computer. I am going to use a 3 part software https://www.dise.com/. So i need to make all signals native?!? Are you going to realse some cards with the signals native by default.?

Best Regards

Daniel

Hi Ligti,
Please note that on the Radeon cards it can support up to 6 independent displays simultaneously with a combination of ports and displays. As I do not know what model you are using (graphics card) and the displays it is hard for me to advice.

If you can describe for me the parts you are using I will provide you the answers.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Ligti,
Thank you for your response.
Eyefinity has specific requirements to drive multiple displays. In your case you are driving probably 6 HDMI displays simultaneously.
To do this you need to have 2 passive adapters such as the CAC-1101 Mini DisplayPort to HDMI & 4 active adapters such as the CAC-1153.
If you have native DisplayPort monitors you do not have this requirement.
In case you have more questions please refer to our Eyefinity Page

Hello thank you for the fast respond. So if i have 2 cards HD7850 (12) minidisplay output it is still just 2 passive adapters  (CAC-1101) and 10 (CAC-1153)?

Each card you need two passive and four active adapters.
For two cards is 4 passive CAC-1101 and 8 active CAC-1153.
