what cable setup for triple screens in 5m distance of PC (with CSV-7300 mandatory)

Hello,

I’ve got three screens (2560×1440 @ 165Hz) in 5m distance of my PC. since there is only one DP Output I have to use the CSV-7300.

Unfortunately club3d does not offer a 5m DP Male to Female cable.

So what would be the best of the three possible solutions:

  1. CSV-7300 directly into graphics card and then from there with three DP1.2 (1.4?) cables to the monitors? (Graphics Card -> CSV-7300 -> 3x DP1.2 (1.4?) cable -> 3x Monitors)
  2. one 5m DP1.4 cable from graphics card to a repeater (CAC 1007) then to the CSV-7300 and from there to the monitors (Graphics Card -> 5m DP 1.4 cable -> CAC 1007 -> CSV-7300 -> 3x DP1.2 (1.4?) cable -> 3x Monitors)
  3. one noname 5m DP1.4 male to female cable to the CSV-7300 and from there to the monitors (Graphics Card -> Noname 5m DP1.4 male to female cable -> CSV-7300 -> 3x DP1.2(1.4?) cable -> 3x Monitors)

Most important is reliability, max. bandwith, low latency and “less is better”.

I hope you can give some advice

greets!

Hi Gretzer,

I would advice to not use an extender infront of any adapter.

Go GPU -> Adapter-> Cables

I know this is not the “less is better” look but I believe it’s your best bet.Or move the PC closer 😛

I would sugget the 3x CAC-1061 . 5 meter DP1.4.
