Hi all,

I have two of the following graphics cards:

http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/products/reader.en/product/radeon-r9-290x-battlefield-4-limited-edition.html

My PC crashes once in a while when I am gaming. The game just freezes and my whole PC restarts. I have run a test with memtest86 to see if my CPU or RAM are having problems, but I get 0 errors.. So I am starting to think that the graphics cards might be the problem.

I was wondering if there are any bios/firmware updates available for my graphics cards which may resolve the issue I am having.

Hi Vinnie,

Did you check on the temperature of the card ?

Not yet. I need to download a program to keep track on the GPU temperatures while I am gaming.

Is there a bios update available for my graphics cards? I can’t find a section on the Club-3D site where I can see which bios updates were made available. On https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/index.php?manufacturer=Club3D&model=R9+290X I see that there might be an update for the bios. But I want to verify that with you guys at Club-3D. 🙂

Hi Vinnie,
No need for additional software to read the Temps, just open Crimson Software, click on “games”, then “general settings”, then “general Overdrive” and than you have speeds and temp of your card.
Please send a picture of the backside of your card, there should be stickers on it with item-code, serial nr. and prodcution nr., will need those to determine which bios version suits your card.
