Thank you for posting and we apologize for the inconvenience.
I think there is an issue with the display timings on the HDTV. Can you detail us the Samsung HDTV model you are using?
Have checked if the card has the same issue by using a standard computer display?
If you do have a computer display, I suggest to use it along with the HDTV so you can check on the display settings by using the Catalyst Control Center.

Yes, that is correct but when you use a passive adapter and not a direct digital connection it will not work.

You can use it but you will not get 1440p, this is a passive adapter

If you wish to use 1440p you will need a different USB adapter, in this case I will suggest to use the CSV-2301 USB GRAPHICS TO DP 1600P as your displays can support up to 1440p max.
If you want to get the 4K version as you might want to upgrade in the future to a 4K panel then the CSV-2302 USB GRAPHICS TO DP 4K will be the preferred choice.

I would like to clarify some aspects of resolution requirements for you to understand better the situation.
Passive adapters will not go above 1920x1200p
Dual Link Active adapters will go above 1200p
Now, you have 3 ports, DP (2560x1440p max) , DVI-I (2560x1440p max) & HDMI (1920x1080p max). Which port do you want to use with a USB Graphics adapter?

Please find the new BIOS here.

Make sure you backup your BIOS file

1. RENAME THE FILE TO 295X2.ZIP
2. EXTRACT THE FILE
3. BECAUSE THE 295X2 HAS TWO GPU’S, YOU NEED TO RUN FIRST MASTER.BAT AND THEN SLAVE.BAT
4. AFTER YOU COMPLETE FLASHING SECOND BIOS, JUST REBOOT AND CHECK UEFI VERSION.

It really depends on the system.
Tweak.dk were able to bring it up to 1150Mhz on the GPU and 1600Mhz on the memory
