Hi Aaronmmanzano, unfortunately the Surface dock is frustrating the connection (edid) between the mDP output and CAC-1170. We have adressed this issue with Microsoft, hopefully some sort of workaround or fix will become available in the future but so far there is no way to get it working properly with the dock in between unfortunately. 

For other Surface users, this applies to SP 3 + dock as well!
