Hey, does anyone know if I can use one of the adapters to get full 4k@60Hz on my MacBookPro11,2 (it’s the 2.5 GHz model Mid-2014 with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M mit 2 GB GDDR5 option) on an external display (preferred HDMI)?

Yes a MBP Mid 2014 support 4K 60Hz output. So you cna use teh CAC-1170 Adapter to convert that DP output to HDMI2.0.
When connecting to a 4K TV you might need to make a Custom resoluting with timing standard set to CVT-Reduced Blanking (RB) for which you will need program like SwitchResX …
