USB3.2 Gen 1 Type-C to Dual Link DVI-0D HDCP ON active Adapter.

I've a USB3.2 Gen 1 Type-C to Dual Link DVI-0D HDCP ON  active Adapter. I'm looking for a HDCP OFF Version but in the meantime Club 3d have sent a firmware update so I can convert the Adapter. 

I have tried to install the Firmware following the instructions as given.

Downloaded the firmware files and ran the application but unfortunately I got this error message:

"Can not find the Synaptics MST DP Port hub " 

Can you let me know what I should do?

Have you unzipped the file before trying to use the .exe file? Save it on your desktop and use it as an administrator.

Is the CAC-1510 attached to the computer? You must connect it to the DVI as well.

Why would the CAC-1510 have a MST DisplayPort Hub?

The CAC-1510 does contain a chip from Synaptics according to the DPCD info but I don't know which chip. The older Startech DisplayPort 1.2 to DVI Dual Link adapter  also uses a Synaptics chip but it may be an older chip or it has an older firmware.

You still need to get the firmware update from club-3d but at least you can check the current version.

Is your firmware version the same as mine?
