Hello so i am trying to connect 4 4K monitors and i was  woundering if i can use CAC-1153 x4 or do i need the CAC-1101 x2 and CAC-1153 x2.

Hello its a HD7850 and i am currently using CAC-1154 adapter and i am w8ing on the  CAC-1170 to land at my retailer

HD7850 what minidp-displayport cables can i use to connect if i am going to use 4-6 4K monitors and what minidisplay-hdmi adapters do i need for the same setup.

Hi Ligti, it depends on the application. If you want to connect 4 to 6 4K UHD monitors via DP you can achieve 60Hz refresh rate. Use the CAC-1110 

If you want to connect HDMI monitors it’s essential to know if they support HDMI 2.0. If the don’t you can achieve 4K UHD at 30Hz max. Use the CAC-1154  

If the screens support HDMI 2.0 you can achieve 4K UHD at 60Hz using the CAC-1170 (available by end of December).

However please note that one HD 7850 may be slightly underpowered for a multi 4K monitor setup!

On the homepage it says supports 6 UHD screens at 4096×2160? What is the bottleneck since you say its underpowered?  What card should i use instead if i would like to run 6 UHD monitors?

Hi Ligti, as said, you can power 6x UHD screens which most likely will have the 3840x2160p resolution but the performance of the card is depending on the application and the amount of rendering that is required, What will be the purpose of your setup?

Videowall i have a quad setup with 12/24 core cpu and 64 gig ddr4 ram.
And show media on it in high resolution

Hi Ligti, for (U)HD video playback it should work! As soon as you demand heavier rendering tasks, the gpu power may not be sufficient.
