Does anyone know if the CAC-1088 supports 4K at 144Hz? Or does it max out at 120Hz?
I have a LG C1 OLED I used to use as my main monitor, but I recently swapped over to a C5 (which is taking up the sole HDMI port) and decided to use the C1 as a third monitor connected to my 5070ti via the CAC-1088 adapter (the second monitor is an older LG and nothing about this changes whether or not it’s connected), but I’m running into an issue where after a bit, the screen will get progressively brighter and more blown out before the screen shuts down (and sometimes the colors invert before this happens). This only happens when plugged into a DP to HDMI adapter (works perfectly fine when plugged directly into HDMI). I’ve tried countless settings to fix this, but regardless of what resolution/frame rate the TV is set to, it will eventually go down (tried everything from 10bit 4k 120hz to 8-bit 1080 60hz, HDR on or off, G-Sync on or off, no change). This is the second DP adapter I’ve bought (the first was a cable matters that worked fine for the previous TV) and this one does give me better options in terms of color options in Windows, but no change in terms of keeping the screen on. Is there a firmware update for this device perhaps or is there some magical setting I’ve missed why this keeps going down?
Apologies for putting this here, I can’t create a topic because the Recapcha gives this errorÂ
