Would connecting these two adapters back to back work, on a machine with only USB Type C out?
Output should be minimum 4K 60Hz HDR 10bit 4:2:2
And what would the machine be able to output? 4K 60Hz 10bit 4:4:4 HDR?
(And would Dolby Vision be supported?)
(assuming the machine has DP 1.4 or DP 1.2 with Alt mode).

It will work however the limitation is not so much in the source device or the CAC-1567. the limitation output is set by displayport 1.4 to 4:2:2.
HDR is supported, note that this is HDR10.

summary as far as i know this was tested on an nvidia 2080 usb dp1.4.
results may differ on other usb-c setups.
