r9 285 has 1 fan at high speed and not the other.. Is this right or is there a fix
Hi,
Can you check if the Catalyst Control Center you have the settings in manual mode?
Can you give me your system specifications?
I don’t even have to be starting in windows for the fan to be at 100 % the other fans works as it should. I run a gigabyte 990fxa -ud3 and AMD 8350 FX on 8 gigs of 2133 ddr3. It is still under store warranty so i am taking it back for an exchange.
Hi SrKag, do note that the fast spinning fan can have several different causes. For example if you had a previous card installed with customized fan profiles or if you installed a new driver without completely sweeping previous driver versions. Has the card been replaced in the meanwhile?
Toke it back to the store had it tested and is was the same there, returned it and bought a Sapphire R9 285 Dual-x worked first time around..
