I have got two Samsung UHD monitors at home and want to use them with a MST Hub DisplayPort 1-2. Does this work?

The UHD displays requires to have the full bandwidth of a single DP 1.2 port, therefore the MST Hub will not be the ideal to use as it will have to share the bandwidth between multiple displays. In your case you require to have a graphics card that supports multiple DP ports to power the UHD display.

Thanks for your Feedback. I exchanged the Monitors with a other product!

I still have some problems. My SURFACE PRO 3 does not really see the monitors. I think it is due the screen resolution. If I plugin the Monitors it does not switch. At least one Monitor runs, but the other one… I could not manage it. Is this a know issue?

Hi,
Did you reset the MST Hub? There is a button on the back.

Check this faq from Microsoft

How many screens can I connect?

The number of external screens that your Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 3, or Surface 3 will support depends on your settings for refresh rate and resolution, and on whether the display on your Surface is on or off. For Surface Pro 3, it also depends on which processor you have (i7, i5, or i3).

Hi Paul, I have got a i5 (Surface Pro 3). I tried the refresh button. One of the monitors is working, the other one (same brand) does not want to. I use two Samsung S27C650. I will check the latest updates, I think there are still some things with windows 10… Not so delighting yet. Thanks for your support!
