Are you overclocking your CPU? BCCode: 124 is often related to overclocking and caused by low voltages. Also in this case the GPU is factory overclocked so maybe there’s something iffy with it’s power delivery.

Also if the graphics card has dual bios switch near the crossfire bridge you should make sure it’s set to legacy mode since your motherboard doesn’t seem to be using UEFI bios.

What brand and what model is your motherboard and are you using using the latest bios for it?

Before you uninstall and go through all that jazz you could check If the manual fan control is off and it’s still going 100%. Try setting manual control on and set it to say 30% and apply. If that slowed the fan down, Reboot and turn the manual fan control off. With a little bit of luck that “resets” the CCC’s fan control to function properly 🙂

Have you tried to go through all the ports on the graphics card when you have BIOS set to PCI Slot and the computer is on? (If it has more ports than one DVI and one HDMI)
    Autosense might not work properly.

Catalyst drivers are notoriously known to leave stuff like registry keys behind when you uninstall them. If you have played around with the AMD OverDrives fan control or MSI Afterburner or similar program the drivers could’ve left registry keys/appdata that force the manual fan control on at 100%. What you should do is open your CCC, go to Performance/AMD Overdrive. Scroll down to the bottom of the Overdrive page and make sure Enable manual fan control is off.
If it’s already off and you’re not using any other programs that fiddle with GPU settings I’d suggest you get a 3rd party program that does a complete clean uninstall of your catalyst drivers and software.

Hey Clubbies! I’m Kaitsu from Finland. First computer was 4.77Mhz 8086 with CGA graphics. Been into overclocking ever since i learned that you can solder/cut a ziptie and change the clock generator chip at the tender age of 7-8 =) Therefore every chip generation and model intel produced up until 486dx4’s had a hard knock life inside my computer cases. Switched over to AMD after Pentium III and returned “home” to intel last year when i got a haswell.
Been sticking with ATI/AMD gpu’s since R200 generation. Bought my first Club3d radeon back when they released x800 series. Awesome card =) Rocked it over 3 generations until upgrade to the Club3d 5850 I have now. Been a big fan of first person shooters ever since Wolfenstein 3d and Doom. But that’s enough of me. Merry christmas! How are you guys spending the holidays?
