    Hi Saif,
Please make sure that your mainboard BIOS is up to date. Also please check if your windows is also up to date. Under the task bar input under search “windows update”, once completed the updates please click under the same window Search windows update online, normally users do not do this and you will be prompted for more updates.
Update the latest Catalyst OMEGA driver for the video card.
Check if your system has proper cooling, if temperatures run to high consider adding case cooling fans. 65C on the GPU is considered normal for this card.
Does it occur with other games? Check if you have applied the latest patch on the Skyrim game.
Check if you can add under Catalyst your game profile, adjust settings accordingly.
Is your V-Sync on on the game?

You can do it from the first card closer to the CPU. When you install the catalyst driver you need to set it into CrossFire mode.

    Hi,
You need to have a CrossFire ready mainboard and a decent power supply to run your system. For a single 4K display you need to have the display connected to one of the the DisplayPort™ port and a good DisplayPort™ cable.
You do not require a bridge cable between both cards.

    Thank you for getting back.
Please ask them to provide you a different card. If the testing went ok here we are not sure what is causing the problem in your system.
As for a swap and see if you have the same problem again.
    Thank you for your patience.

    Hi,
    Thank you for contacting us.
In regards to the mainboard you have, can you detail us which model and make?
We have found that some older mainboards 5+ years have this issue with the sleep/standby.
Can you describe to us the monitor you have? Some displays such as DELL you need to enable DP 1.2 under settings.
Check under your mainboard BIOS the suspend mode if it is creating a conflict with your OS

S0 (Working) is lit. The CPU functions in entirety; the conservation of power is on a basis of by-device.

S1 (Sleep). The CPU is stopped; The RAM is regenerated; the system functions in reduced power.

S2 (Sleep 2) The CPU does not have any power; The RAM is regenerated; the system is in lower mode of the S1.

S3 (Standby) The CPU does not have any power; The RAM regenerates at minimum; the power supply unit is in mode of reduced power. This mode is also called “Save to RAM”.

S4 (Hibernate). All is powered off, but the memory was saved like temporary file on the hard drive. This mode is called “Save to disk”.

S5 (Off) Everything is shutdown. Means you need a full reboot.

S3 is the best. It uses less power and reboots faster.

Vista and Win 7 have hybrid sleep.

    So what is Hybrid Sleep?

Hybrid Sleep is a low-power sleep state that can also protect your open programs and documents in current working state as sysem enter Sleep state while your computer sleeps. Hybrid sleep is defined mostly for desktop system as notebook PC already has safeguard measure mentioned above, which brings system into hibernation when battery power almost runs out, or if you’re not using battery on your notebook computer.

In Hybrid Sleep mode, system saves any open documents and programs to memory and to your hard disk, and then puts your computer into a low-power state as in normal Sleep/Standby state. An advantage of hybrid sleep is that if a power failure occurs, Windows can restore your work from your hard disk. If a power failure such as power outage occurs when your work is saved only to memory (as in Sleep mode), all work is lost. In Hyrid Sleep mode, if the computer suddenly loses power, users can still recover to last working state as when computer enters hybrid sleep mode because all data in memory is saved in hiberfil.sys hibernation file. In this case, the computer is acted exactly same with hibernation mode to resume computer activity, and yet still enjoy the benefit of fast return to full operation of Sleep mode.

However, Hybrid Sleep mode takes longer or slower than basic Sleep mode due to the fact that it will need to save memory state into hibernation file as it was going into hibernate before actually going into sleep. You won’t see Hybrid Sleep button in Vista though. Once you enable Hybrid Sleep mode, whenever system enter Sleep mode, i.e. click on Sleep in Power option, Vista will always put the computer into Hybrid Sleep mode. If the Hybrid Sleep support is disabled or turned off, Sleep button will continue to be normal Sleep button.

Can you send a mail to the RMA department and ask them the same question I have asked? Tell them it is Paul from Insights who is asking. I want to check what has happened.
Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

The R9 290 cards are compatible with your 3 year old mainboards.
I have checked your screenshot above and your mainboard BIOS is from 07/01/2013 which I think is Version 4003 above (BETA)
Can you update to Version 4105?
    Here is the link

The MST Hub routes video streams independently to provide multiple display support. For the touchscreen I believe it has a USB interface, therefore I cannot relate this to the MST Hub.
I saw this text from a DELL service center, maybe it can help you

Issue: A customer connects a second Touch Display to a Touch based Laptop OR a Desktop already with a Touch Display.

Symptom: Touch Displays are shipped with USB Cables. When both USB cables are connected to the computer, the operating system sees two displays and two touch panels. But, not necessarily associated with the displays that they are integrated on. Hence the touch functionality may not work as designed.

    Solution:
    * Ensure that the Secondary Display is in Extended Mode
    * To select Extended Mode, press the Windows Key + P
    * In Desktop Mode, select Charms (Windows + C), choose Settings and then Control Panel
    * Select View by Large Icons, choose Tablet PC Settings and select Setup
    * Both screens will be a white background and the Primary Display will show the text:
“Touch this screen to identify it as the touchscreen”
“If this is not the Tablet PC screen, press Enter to move to the next screen.”
To close the tool, press Esc
    * Touch the Primary Display once
    * You will see a white screen with the following instruction:
“Press Enter to proceed to the next step to complete your configuration”
    * Press Enter to synchronize touch with the Primary Display
    * Touch the Secondary Display once
    * You will see a white screen with the following instruction:
“Press Enter to proceed to the next step to complete your configuration”
    * Press Enter to synchronize touch with the Secondary Display

    Hi Megaman,
Sorry to hear about the problem.
Are you running at 5760×1080 or Eyefinity 3? Do you have V-Sync enabled?
We know that this game has some issues with V-Sync and it does create issues having low framerate.
Can you look up this utility  Radeon Pro?
Check by limiting the framerate if it helps.
Do you have any issues with other games as well?

    Hi Dunn,
    Thank you for contacting us.
I am afraid that we do not have experience with external touchscreens but I am sure that your display is connected to the USB port of the Surface, is it connected with a USB Hub, is this hub with a external power source?
Check with Planar what are the USB power requirements so you can have both screens running simultaneously powered by the USB ports.

    Estimado PCLink,
Has preguntado a Gigabyte que capacidad de dispositivos a traves del DP? Si ves los 4 y solo puedes activar dos pantallas es un problema en el dispositivo, no del MST Hub.
