Hi thats quite unusual – how old is your adapter? you can request a new firmware to [email protected]
try the CSV-1562 or the CSV-1460
5V-9V-12V-15V-20V/3A, 5V/2,4A up to 60W the supplied power Plug and cable is supporting these Power Delivery Charges
The Port in the Dock is marked with the Red Square – which connects to the power Plug. The Black shorter cable is the one that connects to your Notebook and charges the notebook – that cable does data and power up to 100W. Since the power plug is only up to 45W thats the max power you get to charge your laptop. For higher power charge you need to go to the CAC-1903
You should be able to get service on the power adapter – thats really unfortunate that it died
Do you have the USB from the DP side connected to a USB Source for power?
I am sorry I dont think its reaching there yet. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BX49V5V/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza
USB C should already have enough power – i think they might refer to the DP to DVI version which has a separate USB connection
thats indeed a unwanted situation – could you send a mail to [email protected] so they can help you further?
the CAC-1585 will have a later delivery time – around end of August
just curious what system do you want to connect it to? There arent that many USB C DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode solutions out there
Some Apple Cinema displays do not support HDCP and might cause some issues with the CAC-1510 since this adapter is designed to support HDCP
Its best to purchase this version
that does not support HDCP
Hi Santiago, could you specify which Video card you are using? and monitor?
Hi Lauj, could you specify which USB type C Gen1 you have?
at 8Bits thats correct but running with HDR will need 10Bits
Hi there, its an odd situation , the Radeon Pro should be able to delivery 2560*1600 resolution so thats a bit odd that it does not do it. Our DP to DVI adapter should also work under this scenario – and we might suspect an HDCP on / off issue, as Club3d have encounter that with the Apple Cinema display. Could you send a mail to [email protected] perhaps they can help you further with a firmware update
Thats not a fair review – the CX48 only allows 40Gb of bandwidth is not a full HDMI2.1 specs
Running 4K120Hz at 444 RGB 10Bits goes above the possible resolutions the TV allows. The C9 is allowing 48Gb but the new gen TVs from LG from 2020 are limited to 40Gb
Club3D has tested this with the C9, LG could increase to 48Gb with a firmware update – but thats beyond Club3D ability.
do you know if the Acer Aspire 5 USB C supports DisplayPort Alt Mode? this is needed for the Displays to function from the Dock
