Hi SleepingPanda,
Nowadays you can do the same OC settings in Catalist/Crimson driver software, so i advise you to just use that one 😉
firmware version should be on little sticker on the cable
not here yet
Hi RapidUSA,
I will check again if there is newer firmware available and let you know
Hi Des,
Original bios is send by email.
Hi ewolf,
I do not have user feedback from the latest MacBook, however on earlier models the MST Hubs worked fine., so i do not expect difficulties with the newest.
Hi Blazinguitar,
Sorry to hear this, so far we do not have a solution yet for the P Series Vizio TV.
Testing will be done in the factory, however with Chinese New Year going it will most probably take another week (or 2) before we will receive feedback.
Hi r0llinlacs,
You are free to your opinion of course, however please keep your remarks realistic.I am quite sure that everyone knows/understands that this adapter is just passing thru and/or converting a video/audio signal and not capable of frying anything, nor is it capable of wiping edid info from your system.
I am truly sorry that you could not get it to work and for any inconvenience that may have caused, which is of course most certainly not our intention.
Hello GoodKitty,
Vizio P series Tv is alreay a ‘chanllange”, Nvidia 600 series on itself is also quite a challange and i have not yet come across a 5 meter/20 feet cable without it being active that would actually be bale to output 18gbps, challange nr 3 so to say.
Often the Strange colors mean there is not enough bandwidth available and related to either HDMI Cable and or settings of the source/pc. The last one you can check, by setting the color depth to 8Bit and Chroma to 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 if the software lets you …
replied the support email … hope the firmware update works …
The only things i can think off is that the Monitor cables should not be longer than 3 meters and not active (only use active cables when 5 meters or longer.
Sometimes Bios update for the mainboard (i know it sounds weird) and or Graphics Card does help.
I did hear the “Sleep issue” before, something like the MST Hub needed a new power cycle before being able to communicate again … What firmware version i on the CSV-5300H ?
i also hear it could help to setup the screen connected with the CAC-1070/CAC-1170 as second screen (so not as main screen).
and yes you are right we do not have a listing of compatible screens, sorry about that. However normally screens with DP1.2 input also support MST functionality … only very rarely they do not. From the thousands of MST Hubs we sold i only encountered that 2 times so far … 3 times now if that would b the issue you are having.
Anyway what OS are you running ?
Hi Flav,
I just tested on our SP2, we have WIN10 running on that and driver version 10.18.15.4256.
Plugged in the CSV-5200, first the USB then the DP with CAC-1110 to the Mini-DP out.
Connected Sumsung 23″1080p 60Hz screens (from our EF6 setup) really very standard and common screens, and running like a charm! I Did not have to do anything … here’s alink to the video i made with my phone. Sorry for the poor quality but not easy to connect the CSV-5200 and 2 screens while holding your phone :-S

Windows can take more than 6 screens, just not your Graphics Card.
So if you have an external Graphics Device that should work.
However if that External device is not seen by the system as a Graphics Device and just splitting the output coming from your Graphics Card in the system, than it will not help. I am not sure how your system sees that Matrox DualHead2Go …
