Hi Coolguy, there are some potential causes for the issues you encounter with the card.

First, did you have another graphics card installed in the system before the 290?
Regardless if it was an Nvidia or AMD card it’s important to completely uninstall any previous drivers from your system. This can be done with DisplayDriverUninstaller
When all old drivers have been uninstalled please make sure that Windows is fully updated. Then it’s best to download the latest AMD 15.6 Beta Driver

If these steps do not resolve the issue it may be best to do a fresh install of Windows to see if that makes any difference.

Hi Opptur, usually we receive the emails but there is is no confirmation mail sent. Under which name did you submit it? Or which product does it concern? Thanks!

Hi Tox, it’s correct that the 290 Queen is not shown on our website. Since we only got one batch of this card, which is basically an R9 290 running at stock clock speed but with the royalAce triple fan cooler fitted, our product manager decided not to create a specific product page for the R9 290 royalQueen.

The Club 3D Radeon R9 Fury X is the first Single GPU reference design card to feature a full cover, whisper quiet closed loop Water cooling solution. Apart from that we love the design!

Dear RuG, thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately we do not have any HD 6950’s in our lab or RMA department anymore so we cannot check the dimensions and thickness of the thermal pads.

On the Overclock.net forum there is a useful thread on replacing the pads and thermal paste in HD 6950 cards: http://www.overclock.net/t/1323787/torn-thermal-pads-on-hd6950

Aslo, depending on where you’re from you can find a selection of suitable pastes and pads, for example at Performance PC’s webshop: http://www.performance-pcs.com/thermal-compounds

    Hopefully this helps.

Hi Branpute, after checking with our technical team here and Taiwan we unfortunately have no idea what may cause this issue and what to do to solve it. Have you been in contact with the manufacturer of the Headless Ghost to report the issue?

Dear mercato353, thank you for getting in contact with us.

The mDP to HDMI cables you are mentioning are so called ‘type 2’ cables which means they support the HDMI 1.4 features like 4K @ 30Hz support. They are passive though.

For a multi monitor setup with extended displays the requirements are not the same as for an Eyefinity 6 setup. But even for a setup with extended displays we recommend to use at least 2 active mDP to HDMI adapters like our CAC-1153 cable:

Hi Harmar, the resolution of the screens you are using is quite limited so they will not exceed the bandwidth of your DP 1.2 output. But as said, we are not able to replicate your setup so we cannot confirm the functionality.

Hi jpe, two additional questions; have you tried either dual DP monitors connected to the MST Hub and dual DVI monitors using the same DP to DVI cables? Also, can you check what firmware version the hub is using? There is a label on the short cable of the hub mentioning itemcode and firmware version (starting with F/W). Thanks

Dear AngstHab, thank you for your information. It’s not likely that connecting an MST Hub to the Aten-KVM switch will work because MST Hubs need to be connected to the native DisplayPort output of the GPU.
What is the configuration of the system you are using? Thanks.

Hi Branpute, the following link leads to AMD’s EDID utility which lets you read and save the EDID info. Can you read and send us the info? Then we will check with AMD if there is a solution available to this issue. Thanks!

Hi Harmar, do you have additional information about the monitors you are using and about the streaming PC?
