also,, are you SURE there is no setting in the BIOS to disable on board VGA?

I think thats too hot.. fairly sure the 290/290x should max at about 95c under load. Wait for Club to reply though to make sure.

what temps are you getting? im wondering if it maybe has a problem with the temp sensor and it thinks its too hot already.

can you test the card in another pc? my first R9 (not a Club3d) was DOA and had a black screen too

no fans? yikes.. that alone warrants an RMA (or is this designed for no fan sometimes?) . but, if it works with the other monitor.. maybe something is wrong with the main monitor

Are you sure it’s not trying to use a resolution you monitor can’t display? Do you see the boot up info, but then when it’s wndows…. It’s black?

I forgot to say.. Not only will it look better, it will perform SO much better!! Even just a new PSU would prepare it for a nice new GPU and higher Overclock!
