There is a big chance you have heard or read about the new AMD FreeSync technology already. Simply put it’s a technique allowing adaptive refresh rates for monitors. It will eliminate input lag and screen tear, both have been bugging the PC Gamer for ages. All you need is a Club 3D Radeon R7 260X, R9 285, R9 290, R9 290X or R9 295X2 and a FreeSync supporting monitor.

Check out this excellent FreeSync review over at AnandTech with real life results: http://www.anandtech.com/show/9097/the-amd-freesync-review

And this FreeSync FAQ page over at AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/search/faq/219
