Hi,
i want to connect an old 1080p monitor (Benq GL2450-T) to my computer as a second screen. The computer has a RTX 4060 with 3 DP connectors. So i bought an CAC-1080 adapter, but it just wont work, monitor says “no signal”.

Any ideas what i can try?

The Benq GL2450-T does not have an HDMI input. Are you sure the display works?

I assume you got the CAC-1010? Could be that the Benq GL2450-T does not support HDCP. Then you need the CAC-1010-A.

If you have the CAC-1010 please reach out to [email protected] for a firmware update.

Hello, mine does have a HDMI input, and it works if i use it without the adapter. I just checked again and on the back it says GL2450-T and GL2450HM. So i guess its the latter one.

The box says “Club3D DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.0b HDR Active Adapter”, and there is a sticker on the adapter that says “CAC 1080).

Does this adapter generaly work with old displays? This one is from 2012.

P.S.: yes i am sure the display works, if i put it on a HDMI port directly without adapter its ok.

Could you try the adapter on your (or any) other display(s)? Does it show display then?

Have you tried switching input on the display menu?

I can’t put my finger on it if it has to do with HDCP yes or no.

I would suggest to reach out to [email protected] maybe they will be able to help on this.

Or return the CAC-1080 to the shop get a new one and test that, if that also does not work then there is a compatibility issue with the hardware used and the adapter.
