Dear All,

Just wanted to clarify please, in Club 3d CSV-1550 ie., does each one of these DP port support hdcp 2.2, when connected to hdcp 2.2 monitor?, or does it support only one instance of hdcp2.2, when all three DP ports are connected to hdcp 2.2 monitors, when it is connected to & lighting up at 4K@30hz and 4K@60hz resolutions monitors?

Thank you!

CSV-1550 supports it over all 3 ports.

Are you having issues with it? If yes, please name the source and all 3 displays in the description.

Yes please, hdcp 2.2 content is not getting played on Windows platform on AMD Ryzen 7 & the below are the Display models being used

ASUS PG43U (ASUS ROG SWIFT PG43UQ)
LG HDR 4K(27UL550)
LG 4K UHD (32UD89)

Which AMD Ryzen 7? And do you have a discreet graphics card or are you using motherboard graphics? Then I need to know which motherboard you are using too.

You are not getting any display? Nothing, just a black screen?

Please be more specific and don’t leave details so I can try to help you more :).

will get back to you on this info.

Yes we are getting black screen,

Thank you much appreciate for your help for your quick responses

If the Ryzen 7 is from the 7000 series, it should support displays, then the motherboard is needed.

If the Ryzen 7 is from below the 7000 series, 5000, 3000 series, rule of thumb is that the processor needs a G in the name. Like 5700G.

If you don’t know download, CPU-Z to get this info.

I will get back to you on this Ryzen platform details.

BTW, one more info:

hdcp 1.4 is working with all three DP ports available on this CSV-1550, when connected to hdcp 1.4 capable monitors with this Ryzen platform

We have problem only with all three DP ports not working or black screen problem, with hdcp 2.2 when connected with the above listed 4K monitors

I see,

The LG 4K UHD (32UD89) only supports HDCP 2.2 over it’s HDMI port, the DP port on the LG 4K UHD (32UD89) is only displayport 1.2. and therefore lowering it to HDCP 1.4 on all displays.

Thank you very much for your quick responses,

May I know please, how about other two displays , does it support hdcp 2.2 over DP? ie.,

ASUS PG43U (ASUS ROG SWIFT PG43UQ)
LG HDR 4K(27UL550)

According to their websites they do.

  1. may I know please, if any idea, what is the minimum display port version, that is required to support hdcp 2.2?

2. So if any one display for ex: LG 4K UHD (32UD89) is only displayport 1.2, lowering it to HDCP 1.4, does it then lowers the resolution of other two displays also even though if they are capable of hdcp 2.2 please?

on 15-02-2023

DisplayPort supports HDCP2.2 are per v1.3 -> am I correct please?

on 15-02-2023
  1. is afaik DisplayPort 1.4
  2. I would think so yes, for MST’s it need to be all the same or it will pick the lowest standard. As it can go lower on higher but not higher on lower, if that makes sense?

ASUS PG43U (ASUS ROG SWIFT PG43UQ)

https://rog.asus.com/monitors/above-34-inches/rog-swift-pg43uq-model/spec/ -> even though it has “DisplayPort 1.4” -> it is not working with hdcp 2.2, its not working with when connected only this single display over CSV-1550

If we connect standalone only this monitor (SST), without this CSV-1550, it is working with hdcp 2.2

Then I need the info on this:

What motherboard and exact CPU do you use.

Could be that the USB-C is not capable enough

Or even the discrete GPU for that mather
