I want to connect a dell s2718d computer monitor (HDMI 2v input) to a motherboard ASUS STRIX B250F GAMING (90MB0TA0-M0EAY0) (dp 1.2v output) using DisplayPort™ 1.2 Cable to HDMI™ 2.0 UHD 4K60Hz Active Adapter Male/Male 3M/ 9.84Ft. Will it works? thank you.

Assuming that the CPU going into this mainboard will have integrated graphics capable of generating 2560x1440p at 60Hz signal over that DP ouput….
