DisplayPort Splitter: can’t see EITHER of the monitors plugged into it

Hi all!

Just unpacked and plugged in my new “MST HUB DisplayPort Dual Monitor w/ USB Power” DisplayPort splitter —

It’s a single male, double female splitter, w/ the male plugged into the DisplayPort on my docking station, and  w/ two monitors plugged into the female slots in the splitter.

Note that my graphics controller CAN “see” and control 3 monitors.

BUT, graphics controller card cannot see either of the monitors that are plugged into the splitter…

Any idea why this might be the case?

Please advise soonest. Thanks!!!

Good day DeanRoseblum,

Sorry to hear this.
My guess would be it is a conflict between the Docking Station and MST Hub.
Active Devices like and MST Hub often are quite sesitive for other active devices like Docking Stations…
Can you try the MST Hub directly connected tot he Source System please, to make sure the MST Hub is functioning ok ?
By the way what system do you have (Brand/Type/CPU/Graphics/OS)?
