as Playstation 5 sends video signal vis HDMI 2.1 but only a few monitors are in the market i am wondering why you are not providing a HDMI 2.1 to DP 1.4 adapter. In my opinion i would go for such a adapter but not buying a new HMDI 2.1 ready monitor….

If the technology would exist I think Club 3D would create such adapter. I think it’s not as simple as reversing the CAC-1085.
Note that the CAC-1085 does not work from PS5 HDMI2.1 OUT to DP1.4 IN displays. 🙂

So does this cable support 120 hz at all. Sry im new with cables using consoles 😂. Any idea are they able to make these cables work with updates? Like from sony or from the monitor manifactures ?
And as “cables” i mean cac 1085 to work with dp 1.4 to hdmi 2.1 with updates

I think it exists (the Lontium LT6711GX) but no-one has made an adapter from it yet. More info in my forum post linked below (including why I think it would be good even for HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 ports)

Thanks for pointing these out. Seems like they do yes. But they don’t work (yet?), very unfortunately. Which is the reason no one has made an adapter from it yet.
