Hello,  I purchased this card in december. Ive bought my third vga to hdmi cable, thinking that the first two didnt work.  Well, the third cable doesnt work and I fear that it might be the port it self.

Windows 7 doesnt detect the connection, when i plug it the second monitor…please help.

thanks

Hello,
write the model of your videocard.
And a little theory :
The fact
that the hdmi port transmits only a digital signal,
VGA –
Analog, so you can not display the image through hdmi-vga without processing.
Need converting adapter.
If you want to connect 2 monitors, write some outs are at your monitor (DVI-E or I . ) (HDMI) (VGA) (or else)

Sorry for bad english.

Hi Killmore,
Most VGA to HDMI adapters have limited support for display resolutions. Some state that they will work resolutions up to 1080p but not at 60Hz. Can you check with your adapter vendor what are the correct specifications and also your monitor you are using?
Can you detail us what is the video card you are using? Please detail the model.
Thank you in advance.

Dear Killmore, thank you for contacting us. Do you have information about the card and cable you are using? Please note that HDMI is a digital connection and VGA is analog. You can connect a VGA monitor to an HDMI output but you would need an active adapter cable which converts your digital HDMI signal to analog VGA signal. Our CAC-1300 is an excellent choice: http://club-3d.com/index.php/products/reader.en/product/hdmi-to-vga-adapter-cable.html
