When plugging in my new HP laptop to a USB-C docking station, the Ethernet port needs to be configured to the MAC address of the laptop/docking station. The MAC address keeps changing randomly causing the port to be tripped. This is causing errors every time the laptop is restarted and the error is solved when bypassing the docking station port.
