Hi!

I have the following setup:

– MacBook Pro (mid 2015) with Intel Iris Pro (not the Nvidia one)
– CAC-1170
– LG 27UD88 monitor

I can output 4K@30Hz but not on 60Hz. How do I do this?

SwithResX is installed but doesn’t do the trick (yet) because it crashes over and over again. Any Ideas?

Thanks!

Setups with TV’s normally work best by making a custom resolutions for 3840×2160 at 60Hz with Timing Standard set to CVT-Reduced Blanking (RB).

For MAC OSx users you will need an app to be able to do that Timing Standard setting, like SwitchResX.

I know that with SwitchResX it is sometimes necessary to have a clean install with new user and sometimes a reboot to make it work properly.

TV most probably will need to have UHD Color enabled manually.
