Missing refresh rates and free sync support with CAC-2068

Hi,
I have R9 290x graphic card connected to dell s2719dgf monitor using the CAC-2068 display port cable (latest drivers for card and monitor).
The monitor and graphic card support freesync, however in AMD Radeon Software in the display tab AMD FreeSync is grayed out and shows “unsupported”
Moreover, the monitor is native 2560×1440@144Hz but there is only 60Hz option for this resolution in windows 10 monitor tab in display properties.
Can someone please help me understand if the CAC-2068 is capable of supporting 2560×1440@144Hz with freesync?
