CAC-1507 using backwards to transform Display Port 1.2 signal to USB-C for ASUS MB169C+?

Dear forum,
I would like to use a Display Port 1.2 signal to feed an ASUS MB169C+. Is this possible by using the CAC-1507 backwards, feed it on the DP side and get and USB Type C Alternate Mode signal?

Hello Marciachinger,

Yes this CAC-1507 works in both directions full use of 4Lanes DP Alt Mode spec.
No support for USB or ther Alternate Modes.
