CAC-1504 – bad videoquality with pc to 4k tv

I got the CAC-1504 and one of these new intel nucs, when connected to my 4k tv at 60hz the picture is sharp with shadows compared to hdmi connection.

Connected to my monitor 1920×1200 it looks fine.

Any ideas?  should the picture quality be as good as with normal hdmi

Yes the picture quality should be as good as a direct hdmi connection.

Thanks, im using high speed hdmi cabel that works fine from the hdmi port.

I read on intel boards that some people recommend this adapter so it works for some.

yes it should work indeed, lets first try the firmware update … i think that will help
