When I connect monitors to the mst hub, they get detected but no signal comes through. After a few seconds they go to standby mode. Interestingly though, both Catalyst control center and windows show the displays correctly detected in their respective display menus and CCC shows them in its displayport area as well where it shows the dp bandwidth being used by each. However, while none of the displays are getting a signal, if I connect remotely to the computer to verify this, the remote desktop acts as if all monitors are working and has extended the desktop over all of the space they would display.
I have tried: deleting and reinstalling the drivers per all methods I have found on this forum, power cycling both the computer and the hub, verifying the cables work individually connected to the graphics card via the mini dp to dp adapter provided as well as another adapter, trying just one monitor, two monitors, and all monitors, verified working both mini dp outputs on graphics card.
Finally, I did notice that when I try to plug a monitor into each displayport out on the graphics card at the same time (2 monitors total), the second one will not be detected at all. I don’t know what this could mean or if it is related. I have never noticed before as I used just 1 dp and 2 dvi outs prior to getting the mst hub.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would really like this to work.
